Big Sur is a section of the California coast, typically
considered to run from Carmel-by-the-Sea to the
Hearst Castle at San Simeon in the south. It is
characterized by the collision of coastal mountain
ranges, locally named the Santa Lucia Range, with
the Pacific Ocean. Throughout much of Big Sur, this
produces dramatic sea cliffs and undersea kelp forests.

Some
things to keep in mind, when visiting Hollywood.
You won't find a gleaming city filled with movie
stars, posh restaurants, grand mansions and expensive
shopping areas. The actual suburb of Hollywood is
far from glamorous, it's really more of a tourist
attraction. It is said that "The real "Hollywood"
is a state of mind, not a place; it's not so much
a city as it is shorthand for the general movie
and entertainment industry."
|
|
Adjacent
to Beverly Hills and minutes from Rodeo Drive,
The
Hyatt
Regency Century Plaza
is one of Los Angeles' most fashionable addresses.
One of the hotel's most notable attributes is
the new 35,000-square- foot, Asian influenced
resort spa. *(or similar)

Bevely Hills, Rodeo
Drive, Santa Monica, Venice Beach...
Beverly Hills is where many stars actually live,
dine and shop. Only a few minutes drive from the
hotel, the City of Beverly Hills offers all of
the glamour and opulence that anyone could reasonably
hope for. There you'll
find Rodeo Drive, one of the wealthiest and most
famous shopping districts in the world.
Shop
where the Stars Shop...
Numerous well-known restaurants, many frequented
by movie stars, including the legendary Chasen's,
Trader Vic's, The Grill, Jimmy's, Planet Hollywood,
and the new Spago Beverly Hills.
Favorite
restaraunts of the stars...
The
homes (and former homes) of countless movie stars
and TV personalities; their grand mansions line
such Beverly Hills streets as Roxbury Drive, Carolwood
Drive, Bedford Drive, Crescent Drive, and Benedict
Canyon Drive.
